Many people associated with the Cuthbert-MacLean Foundation know that we have a soft spot for sending young people to Malawi, having done so twice in the past before the Foundation was set up.
Recently we were approached not to support an individual, but to act as back-up funding should one of the youngsters hoping to go next year falls short of their individual fund-raising goals. We thought this a great thing to do as it would be so disappointing to miss out on such a life-changing opportunity.
We supported Knightswood Secondary School in Renfrewshire in this initiative and wish them well on the rest of their fundraising!
